I offer a range of services to keep your dog looking and feeling their best, including puppy introductions, washing and tidy, de-shedding, and full grooms. Both pet trims and breed standard cuts are available.
My home-based salon provides a one-on-one, personalized experience for your pet.
Grooming Behaviour
Rehabilitation Programme
After conducting an 'Initial assessment groom' I will develop a customized training plan for both you and your dog.
The plan will consist of a 6 or 10 week programme that includes weekly training sessions and games to practice at home.
The training will focus on establishing a strong bond and foundational skills to prepare your dog for regular grooming sessions, with specific targets and goals.
Trust and positive reinforcement are the basis of all my training methods, as I believe that every dog deserves to enjoy their grooming experience.
Grooming Tuition
Keeping your dog's coat well-groomed is crucial, but many pet owners struggle with the process. That's why I created a service to educate owners on their dog's coat type and the necessary grooming tools. For instance, long-haired dogs require a slicker brush and comb, while short-haired dogs need a rubber brush. Establishing a proper grooming routine with correct handling and brushing techniques can prevent matting and avoid the need for a shave. By following these tips, you can extend time between grooms and keep your furry friend looking and feeling great.
Referrals
I provide a referral service with Vets and groomers for dogs that experience fear and discomfort during handling.
I will work with you and the referring party to gather information about your dog's history and behaviour.
Then, I will conduct an initial assessment and create a rehabilitation program to help your dog develop the necessary skills to cope with grooming and vet visits.
Once the program is complete and your dog's behaviour has improved, I will coordinate with the referral party to transfer your dog's new skills.

Regular Grooming Pricing
HB Grooming is able to offer high quality grooms from puppy introductions, a simple wash & nails, to full pet or breed standard trims. Grooming costs will be set on an individual basis dependant on the type of service required and your dogs breed, size, behaviour and coat condition.
