Hi guys !
I am Billie and this is my dog Hella and together we make HB Dog training!

I have been a Dog Groomer & Trainer for 9 years.

We are powered by fun and motivating reward-based training techniques.
The modern and fresh way of thinking about our dogs behaviour. Our Training sessions are not your old school lessons of walking around a crowded hall for an hour every week with outdated punishment techniques.

Instead, we use concept training which encourages us to step away from tackling a behaviour problem in the moment, and instead to use games to grow our dogs abilities to prepare them for real life situations.

I look further than the obvious behaviour issues presented and identify where your dog is struggling on a psychological level. From there I can teach you how to change your dog’s perception of the world and in turn we create a much happier and calmer dog.
This way of thinking has led me to have great success in rehabilitating dogs who do not enjoy being groomed.

Disability is not Inability

Hella is a Deaf Rescue dog who is now able to compete in Agility and Flyball and holds an advanced trick dog title.

We have had to work incredibly hard but it makes our achievements even more special.

Please do not let labels from your dogs history or breed type, limit your dogs success!
Break the mould and show the world there is more to your dog than what meets the eye.
